It is the first time that a smartphone manufacturer made it in to this list. Due to the newest Blackberry, the Blackberry Bold 9700, Research in Motion has gained popularity in other parts of the population. Such as students and people who have just started their own business. Especially when you know the Blackberry is the only phone which provides push e-mail and still maintains other top notch qualities other phones have. When you know these aspects it was only a matter of time Research in Motion would grow 50% in sales.
